feedback

how it works

Your buyers will leave you feedback after they have completed a purchase. When you receive a new order notification email from us, simply follow the instructions in the email.  This will ensure that you will get a good feedback rating.

  • Complete the Upstyla Shipping Checklist

  • Ship your item immediately

  • Mark your item as shipped

kickstarting the feedback  process

Marking your item as shipped kickstarts the feedback process.  Your buyer will immediately receive a notification email.  Once they have received the item and marked it as received, they will be prompted to leave feedback on their shopping experience.  Your shop will be rated on the following criteria, on a scale of 1 to 5, from “love it” (5), to “hate it” (1):

  1. Description accurate

  2. Item quality satisfactory

  3. Fast shipping

  4. Item arrived in good condition

  5. Seller communication

Your buyer may also leave general comments.

the Upstyla feedback loop

Often times, online feedback is a one way street, the buyer leaves negative feedback for a seller and has the last word.  Upstyla’s feedback loop is designed to give both sides a chance to speak up. We encourage buyers to be fair and accurate in their feedback, and to be constructive whenever possible to help sellers improve to make Upstyla a better marketplace for everyone.

That’s where Upstyla’s Feedback loop comes in.  First, the buyer leaves feedback on the item received.  Next, the seller has 3 days to respond.  The seller can choose to either accept or mitigate the feedback.  If the seller accepts the feedback, it is published immediately.  The seller may only mitigate feedback for items in the feedback loop.  The seller may offer the buyer an explanation, a coupon, or a full or partial refund to make the buyer happy. The buyer may choose to revise the feedback or keep it as is.
